Building a visual language for Aura

We want Aura to feel energetic without making every screen loud. That balance guides the brand and the interface.

The arc is the simplest expression of Aura: an opening, a shape you can recognize at a glance. Paired closely with the name, it forms the primary lockup. The diagonal purple-to-pink-to-orange gradient brings warmth and movement to moments that deserve emphasis.

The rest of the interface stays calm. Nunito gives the words a friendly voice. White canvases and light-grey cards keep content readable. Rounded-square avatars and generous corner radii carry the same shape language through profiles, conversations, and controls.

Our goal is consistency across the mobile app, public website, and tools the team uses to run Aura. The design-system portfolio collects the current foundations and will evolve as the product does.

Getting ready for the first beta

An official beta is about learning how Aura behaves in real hands and on real devices—not simply releasing more features.

Aura already brings together different ways to connect: sharing, messaging, audio rooms, and live moments. Before opening testing more widely, we are focusing on the foundations that make those experiences dependable.

That includes checking sign-in, media, notifications, calls, and safety flows across devices, then turning feedback into clear fixes. When registration opens, this website will explain who can test, how to join, and where to report issues.

Public beta registration is not open yet. If you are interested in helping test, you can email the Aura team.
